Reclaiming Your Power
August 27, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 5:30 pm
With Mark Putnam and Liz Hess
Please ask us about Covid requirements to attend
Have you felt times when you don’t feel in control of what’s going on around you? Most often it’s when you’ve given away your power. Maybe you don’t speak up, or you don’t follow your gut, or you go along to get along and put everyone else’s need ahead of your own. All of these can make you feel like a victim and powerless in your everyday life.
Mark and Liz will offer group and individual experiential exercises and personal ‘hotseat’ opportunities to help you explore your power and recover it in a healthy way. Reclaiming Your Power will help you take back agency over your life, step into your true potential, and feel more effective in getting what you want in the world.
If you need to discover your power, reclaim your power, or harness your power, this workshop is for you. 7 hot seat slots available.
Note: Counselors, social workers and therapists are invited to join us. Interested in obtaining CEU’s? Inquire upon registration!
Fee: • Individual hotseat participants: $200, have a time to do “open seat” work with Mark, Liz and the group. Hotseats are limited to 7 so please sign up early if you want the opportunity to do work on an important issue with the support of the group.
• Group participants: $100: share in-group exercises and are involved as observers of “hot seat work”.
• Students/Alums of our Gestalt Program: $100.
Plan to bring: Please bring your own lunch, comfortable clothing, a lawn chair and whatever additional supplies you need for a day outside (bug spray, sun screen, jacket, etc.) Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Participants will be asked to do a personal Covid test the day of the workshop. You will be asked to confirm a ‘negative’ test result when you arrive. It will be an honor system.
