“Creating Exact Moments of Healing” Open Workshop

September 23, 2022 @ 7:30 pm September 25, 2022 @ 5:00 pm

With Dori Middleman, MD and Mark Putnam, MD

Please ask us about Covid requirements to attend

Were there moments in your life that never should have happened? Were there moments that should have happened and didn’t? Are you ready to take a major step towards the life you’ve always longed for, freed from the wounds of these moments and the life-long patterns of dysfunction they created? This workshop is specifically designed for people with a passionate commitment toward creating healthy relationships within healthy lives. It offers the opportunity to benefit from personal healing work on emotional injuries rooted in your past, recurring themes or patterns of dysfunction, or personal longings in the here and now. Many of us must walk a road to renewal that requires determination, lifelong commitment, and the creation of specific moments of healing. Creating Exact Moments of Healing offers you an opportunity to define a plan for necessary moments you must create, so that you can move forward and transform your personal history from one of liability to one of strength and wisdom. The focus will be on the promotion of healing:
  • With Yourself—developing awareness, freedom from addictions, and healing of the body and soul from the residual effects of trauma
  • With Others—improving your capacity for moving out of isolation into direct, open communication and trust, while securing healthy boundaries
  • In the World—moving away from chaos and deprivation toward stability and abundance
  • Spiritually—searching for the meaning of your history and accessing that part of yourself that can utilize universal blessings
This experiential and didactic workshop blends individual and group Gestalt work with a step-by-step recovery process developed by the leader. It also offers significant educational value for professionals who are involved with human development. The atmosphere will be one of trust and mutual support. Individual workspace participants have a time to do “open seat” work with Dori and Mark. Group participants share in group exercises and are involved as observers of “open seat work”. CEUs: This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors for 21 contact hours of continuing education toward licensure renewal.
