Aging as a Creative Process
November 8, 2025 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

With Dori Middleman, MD, Mark Putnam, MD, and Liz Hess, LCSW
All of us do it whether we like it or not. Sometimes it is almost unnoticeable. Other times we stand back and feel dismayed.
Surprisingly, people we remember from our younger years have done it too. Cars, animals, homes, and people all do it: aging.
How are you aging?
Is aging something that is happening to you?
Are you approaching getting older creatively?
What are you aware of about death? Your death?
In this one-day workshop, through group exercises, personal reflection using a Gestalt therapy approach, we invite you to examine how you are aging, unfinished business from your past, and how you might approach your upcoming time (and death) with creativity, depth, and intention.
Homework before we meet; notice how you are aging now.
When: Saturday, November 8, 2025 – 9:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 South Cedar Crest Blvd. Allentown, Pennsylvania 18105
Lunch will be provided.
Fee: $190 for the day.
CEU INFORMATION: The Pennsylvania Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors has approved this workshop for 8 contact hours of continuing education toward licensure renewal. Inquire at Pagestalt@comcast.net.
